ANENG TH202 Infrared Thermometer Non-contact Sensing -50~600℃ Temperature Gun LCD Backlit Display Screen Pyrometer Tester Meter
🔍 Description
This series of infrared thermometers can measure the surface temperature of opaque objects. The optical components of the measuring instrument can sense the reflected and transmitted energy emitted by objects, and collect the energy onto the detector, making it suitable for quickly measuring the surface temperature of various high-temperature, toxic, or difficult to contact objects.
The thermometer consists of an optical system, photoelectric sensor, signal amplifier, signal processing circuit, and LCD display. The optical system gathers the infrared energy radiated from the surface of an object to a photoelectric sensor, which converts the energy into corresponding electrical signals. The signals are then converted into readings and displayed on an LCD through a signal amplifier and signal processor circuit.

⚠️ Safety Notice
1. Warning:
To avoid potential harm to users, please read and follow the instructions below:
• Please do not aim the laser at the eyes or indirectly aim it at the eyes through reflective surfaces when using this device;
• The measuring instrument cannot measure through transparent surfaces such as glass/plastic, otherwise the value measured by this instrument will be the surface temperature of the transparent object;
• Steam/ash layer/smoke or other particles can form obstacles to the lens of the instrument, affecting the accuracy of the measurement.
2. Attention:
To avoid damaging the thermometer or the device being tested, please protect them from the following effects:
• EMF fields generated by arc welding machines and induction heaters;
• Thermal shock (due to significant or sudden temperature changes, wait for 30 minutes for the thermometer to reach a stable state before use);
• Do not place the thermometer near or on high-temperature objects.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the measurement range of the TH202?
The TH202 can measure temperatures ranging from -50°C to 600°C (-58°F to 1112°F).
2. Can this thermometer measure body temperature?
No, this is an industrial thermometer designed for measuring the surface temperature of objects. It is not suitable for medical use or measuring human body temperature.
3. What is the Object Distance Ratio (D:S)?
The D:S ratio is 12:1, meaning if you are 12 inches away from the object, the thermometer measures a 1-inch diameter area.
4. Can it measure through glass or plastic?
No, it cannot measure through transparent surfaces. It will only measure the surface temperature of the glass or plastic itself.
5. Is the emissivity adjustable?
Yes, while the default emissivity is 0.95, it can be adjusted to match different material surfaces for more accurate results.
6. What type of batteries does it require?
The device operates on 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries (not included in the standard packaging).
